Doreen Simon, deputy copy chief at personal finance site NerdWallet, is leaving after more than 10 years.
She previously spent more than 14 years at the San Jose Mercury News as a copy editor and as a news wire services editor.
Simon also worked at the Tri-City Herald in Washington state and at the European and Pacific Stars and Stripes.
She holds a bachelor’s degree from Eastern Washington University.
