Natarajan departs WSJ after 17 years

Prabha Natarajan

Prabha Natarajan, chief editor at The Wall Street Journal, is leaving the publication.

She oversaw nearly a dozen products for specific audiences.

The dozen products offer news and insights on corporate and finance topics, ranging from bankruptcy to sustainability. She works with the news teams on coverage and coordinates with other stakeholders, including product, tech and business teams, on strategies.

She previously held various editorial roles across WSJ, including as news editor on the corporate desk and as a leader of news hub team. She started at Dow Jones as reporter covering mortgages during the 2008 credit crisis for the Newswires.

Natarajan was part of the 2023 cohort of CUNY’s Executive Program in News Innovation and Leadership.
