Lori Becker, the publisher of the Nashville Business Journal, is leaving the American City Business Journals publication later this month.
Editor in chief Eric Snyder writes, “Becker, a native of Bowling Green, Kentucky, joined the Business Journal in 2008 after a decade as a reporter with daily newspapers. She was promoted from managing editor to editor in chief in 2012.
“Becker is a board member and past chairwoman for the March of Dimes’ Middle Tennessee chapter, an executive board member for Scouting America Middle Tennessee Council and a member of the 2019 class of Leadership Nashville.
“Mike Olivieri, executive vice president and president of local markets for parent company American City Business Journals, joined Becker for her announcement Wednesday.
“‘I want to thank Lori for being such an important part of the Nashville Business Journal for the past 17 years and for her passion for our mission today and into the future,’ Olivieri said.
