Pratish Narayanan has been named managing editor of the Americas news desk at Bloomberg News.
He has been team leader for Bloomberg’s personal finance initiative, which is part of the global finance team.
Narayanan was previously a senior editor in New York, writing and editing global commodities and energy stories, and helping coordinate coverage of breaking news as well as enterprise projects.
He previously spent nearly six years as a team leader in Singapore, leading a team of reporters and editors covering global oil, energy and commodities.
Narayanan was also an energy markets reporter in India and Singapore for Bloomberg. And he worked for Reuters for more than four years in India.
