Bloomberg had tapped the Financial Times’ Neil Munshi as an editor based in Lagos.
Munshi had been with the Financial Times for nearly 11 years, recently serving as West Africa correspondent, based in Lagos. He covered economics, politics, governance, business, security and culture with a focus on Nigeria.
Before that, he was based in New York, where he covered race and edited business and politics coverage. He has also served as FT’s Chicago and Midwest bureau chief and Mumbai correspondent.
He was also a health and science reporter at The Boston Globe.
Munshi has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Minnesota and a M.S. in journalism from the Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism.
