MSNBC has hired Ryan Teague Beckwith to be a newsletter editor for its digital operation.
He had been a Washington reporter for Bloomberg News for four years covering the 2020, 2022 and 2024 elections, U.S. politics, election denial and voting systems. He was also a regular guest on “Sound On” and “Balance of Power” on Bloomberg Radio and “Bloomberg Businessweek” on TV.
Beckwith previously worked at Time magazine as a senior editor, Roll Call, Congress.org and The (Raleigh) News & Observer.
He was a 2023 Dateline Award from Washington Society of Professional Journalists for “Five US States Will Decide If the 2024 Election Can Be Stolen.”
Beckwith holds a bachelor’s degree from Wilamette University and a master’s from Columbia University.
