Mountain State Spotlight hires Elbeshbishi to cover energy and environment

Sarah Elbeshbishi

Sarah Elbeshbishi has joined nonprofit Mountain State Spotlight to cover energy and environment.

She joins from USA Today, where she has worked on Politics Now, as a universal reporter and recently, as politics reporter.

Elbeshbishi served as programming chair and chapter president at the Society of Professional Journalists. She interned at NBC News and USA Today.

Elbeshbishi has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Maryland.
