Founded in 2013, Morning Consult is offering select team members an opportunity to join its analyst team.
“Morning Consult’s business is rooted in our survey research technology and the decision intelligence solutions we provide to our clients,” said a company spokeswoman. “Because of that, we are unifying and scaling our analyst team, aligning our content with the prescriptive analysis our audience and clients have come to expect.”
Morning Consult had editorial staffers covering sports business, technology, politics and branding, among other topics.
The company originated out of a health care policy and business email newsletter created by now-CEO Michael Ramlet when he was in college. After the newsletter took off, Ramlet quit his day job and brought on Meghan McCarthy as editor in chief and head of polling and data science Kyle Dropp to create a company that brings together news, polling and data to inform the country’s leaders in government and industry.
Matthew Kendrick, a geopolitics reporter for Morning Brew, wrote on LinkedIn that his newsletter has ended. “I want to thank readers for their attention and support over the last two years,” he wrote. “It has been a privilege to explore the world with you.”
