Morning Brew hires Mueller as supervising producer

Morning Brew has hired Carl Mueller as a supervising producer for its video efforts.

Mueller spent nearly six years at Cheddar as director of on demand video, growing its YouTube subscribers to more than 950,000. He was also executive producer for multiple shows.

He also worked as one of the original members of Business Insider’s Insider initiative, managing a team of producers that created content for social media platforms.

Mueller holds a bachelor’s degree from Susquehanna University and a master’s degree from Emerson College.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
