Morning Brew hires Choudhary to cover retail

Vidhi Choudhary

Morning Brew has hired Vidhi Choudhary as a retail reporter.

She previously was at Modern Retail covering Amazon and e-commerce companies. She also worked at TheStreet.com as a breaking news reporter.

Choudhary is a graduate of the Columbia University’s Graduate School of Journalism in the master’s program for business and economics journalism. She previously worked as a tech and media reporter at the Hindustan Times in New Delhi, India, focusing on Facebook, WhatsApp and Twitter.

She also spent seven years at Mint, an India-based business publication, as a reporter.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
