Moore promoted to senior director of editorial products at ACBJ

Summer Moore

Summer Moore has been promoted to senior director of editorial products at American City Business Journals.

Moore has been director of audience growth at the Charlotte-based company for the past two years.

Before that, she was director of content of corporate communications at Gannett. There, she previously served as director of content for USA Today Network Ventures, senior project and communications manager and digital project manager for GateHouse Media. She was digital and audience engagement editor at The Times of Northwest Indiana.

She formerly worked at The Augusta Chronicle and The Associated Press.

Moore holds a bachelor’s degree in English literature from the University of Colorado Boulder.

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
