Modern Retail account has been suspended on X

The social media service X has permanently suspended the account of Modern Retail, according to its editor in chief.

Cale Weissman writes, “If anyone has any idea what to do lmk. We’re an independent media company writing about… retail! I am positive our content doesn’t break any rule.”

Weissman posted on Twitter that he received an email stating the account was “suspended due to multiple or repeat violations of Twitter Rules” and “will not be restored.”

Modern Retail was founded in 2019 by Digiday Media and has been covering the reinvention of retail.
