Erica Teichert is joining the New York Daily News as its director of audience starting June 27.
She was previously managing editor, digital at Modern Healthcare, where she managed day-to-day operations of the newsroom and used data and analytics to guide the publication’s digital content strategy.
She previously served as Modern Healthcare’s news editor and New York bureau chief.
Earlier in her career, she was Law360’s first ever D.C. bureau chief, creating a 10-journalist team to cover the courts, Congress and federal agencies for the legal news site after several years as a court reporter.
