The MIT Technology Review has hired Caiwei Chen to cover China technology.
She will start next week.
Chen was a Rest of World reporter based in New York. She has written for more than five years about the Chinese internet and tech. She has been published in Wired, Rolling Stone, Protocol, Technode, and The China Project, and holds a master’s degree from Columbia University.
She was also part of Chaoyang Trap, an experimental newsletter about Chinese internet.
