Sam Mintz will join Brookline.News, a soon-to-launch nonprofit news startup covering Brookline, Massachusetts, as founding editor.
Recently, Mintz was a New England correspondent at RTO Insider, where he covered the electric grid and climate policy. Before that, he was a reporter at the Boston Business Journal.
He worked as a transportation reporter at Politico and held the posts of reporting fellow and reporter and E&E News. He interned at the Thomson Reuters Foundation.
Mintz graduated from Brandeis University in Massachusetts.
