
Dirk DeYoung, the editor of the Minneapolis/St. Paul Business Journal, announced plans Tuesday to retire on Aug. 6.
“It’s been a privilege to work with so many talented, dedicated professionals over the years, including those now part of the MSPBJ team and the broader company, and I’ll miss them all greatly,” he wrote on Facebook.
DeYoung joined the Business Journal in 1995 and has been editor since 1999.
Prior to that, he was a reporter for daily newspapers in Mason City, Iowa, and Fergus Falls, Minnesota.
He has a B.A. in journalism from the University of Minnesota
