Reporter Sari Lesk has been promoted to managing editor at the Milwaukee Business Journal.
Editor in chief Mark Kass writes, “Sari joined the paper in September 2018 after previously working at the Racine Journal Times and the Stevens Point Journal.
“She also spent nine months as a fellow at Marquette University as part of the O’Brien Fellowship in Public Service Journalism. Her resulting special report on the flight of banks in southeastern Wisconsin won a 2022 Best in Business Award from the Society of American Business Editors and Writers.
“Sari has done a great job covering retail, restaurants, education and banking for the paper. I look forward to Sari using her skills to help continue our newsroom’s outstanding performance both on the web and in print.”
