Mehrotra departs nonprofit Reveal for Wired

Dhruv Mehrotra

Dhruv Mehrotra, a data reporter at Reveal from The Center for Investigative Reporting will leave and join Wired. Previously, Mehrotra worked at Gizmodo as an investigative data reporter/technologist.

He was a network engineer at Saycel, which builds low cost cellular networks and emergency 911 for regions where access to communication services is unavailable or prohibitively expensive. He was an artist in residence at nonprofit studio Eyebeam.

He served as a researcher at RiskEcon® Lab for Decision Metrics, NYU Courant Institute and at ACLU: Speech Privacy Technology Department.

Mehrotra graduated from New York University.
