
Patrick McHenry has joined Bloomberg as a politics contributor for TV, radio and podcasts.
He will provide analysis and expertise on the intersection of business and politics across these platforms.
McHenry served 10 terms in the U.S. House of Representatives as the Congressman for North Carolina’s 10th Congressional District. Throughout his time in Congress, McHenry was a member of the House Financial Services Committee, including serving as its lead Republican member and Chairman from 2018-2024. During his time leading the committee, McHenry drove a legislative agenda focused on cryptocurrency, capital formation, artificial intelligence, fintech, data privacy and corporate governance issues.
Since leaving Congress at the beginning of 2025, McHenry has advised multiple firms in the financial, technology, and artificial intelligence space. Additionally, he serves as a Distinguished Fellow at Georgetown University’s Psaros Center for Financial Markets and Policy.
McHenry will appear on a range of programs, including Bloomberg’s flagship politics show “Balance of Power” in Washington, and “Bloomberg’s Surveillance” in New York.
