Business journalist Jena McGregor has been hired as managing editor of Charter, which covers work issues.
For most of the past year, she has been at Modern Executive Solutions as editorial director and vice president of content strategy.
McGregor previously was senior editor spearheading the Work and Leadership channel, leading coverage of the workplace, careers and leadership issues at Forbes.
She previously spent 11 years at The Washington Post.
Before the Post, McGregor was an associate editor at BusinessWeek where she covered leadership and management trends and ideas, corporate strategy and executive compensation. She was also a department editor at BusinessWeek and an associate editor at Fast Company.
McGregor also spent more than four years at personal finance magazine SmartMoney.
