McGarry joins Wirecutter as a senior editor

Wirecutter has tapped Caitlin McGarry to serve as a senior editor.

Recently, McGarry was a news editor at Protocol.

She was a consumer technology editor and senior consumer technology editor at Gizmodo. She was a senior writer for Tom’s Guide at Future. She reported for PCWorld, edited for TechHive and wrote for Macworld at IDG Consumer & SMB.

She was a business reporter at the Las Vegas Review-Journal and was an assistant editor at Global Gaming Business.

McGarry has a B.S. in journalism and political science from Northern Arizona University.
