Myles McCormick
Myles McCormick has joined the Washington economics team at the Financial Times.
He previously covered American politics in Washington. Previously he was the FT’s Houston correspondent, reporting on the oil and gas industry and wider Texas economy, and an energy correspondent based in New York. He joined the FT in 2018.
Prior to joining FT, McCormick was working as a freelance reporter. Before that, he was a market reporter at Fastmarkets covering commodity markets. He has also interned at the U.S. Commercial Service and at Euromoney Institutional Investor.
He was also a reporter at The University Times.
McCormick is a B.A. in politics and economics and a MSc. in international management from Trinity College.
