Megan McCarthy has been hired as editor of Founder Brew, a new newsletter from Morning Brew.
She previously worked at Diageo as a search engine optimization manager and at The Messenger as breaking news editor and head of editorial audience.
McCarthy has also been executive editor of MIT Technology editor, deputy technology editor at Reuters and deputy managing editor at Fortune.com.
She was also the founding editor at Mediagazer and a staff writer at Wired.
