Mashable hires Cavender as tech reporter

Elena Cavender

Mashable has appointed Elena Cavender as a tech reporter.

Previously, she was a culture fellow and worked as a freelance news reporter for the Piedmont Exedra, an online newspaper.

She was also a news reporter and deejay at KALX-FM 90.7, the student-run radio station at the University of California, Berkeley. She also wrote for The Daily Clog, the online blog portion of the UC Berkeley student newspaper.

Cavender graduated from the University of California, Berkeley.
