She had been covering work and career and writing a regular column on those topics, reporting on the website’s personal finance desk since joining the newsroom in 2023.
Lang previously was at The Charlotte Observer covering banking and finance before leaving in February 2023 to freelance.
Lang previously interned with the Wall Street Journal economics team in Washington, D.C. She is a 2020 graduate of UNC-Chapel Hill, where she covered university news for the Daily Tar Heel student newspaper, and studied business journalism.
Lang has previously interned for the Triangle Business Journal and the Charlotte Observer.
