I am delighted to announce that Britney Nguyen is joining MarketWatch on April 28 as a tech reporter covering Nvidia, semiconductors and AI.
This is an exciting hire for our growing technology team in New York. Britney comes to us from Quartz, where she focused on AI, the chip industry and tech policy, while covering trending tech news more broadly.
At MarketWatch, Britney will keep readers on top of developments in the increasingly crucial chip industry with consistent coverage of Nvidia, as well as rivals and partners like AMD and Broadcom. She will also track how the semiconductor sector is shaping the broader tech industry, the emergence of AI, and the geopolitical rivalry between the U.S. and China.
Importantly, Nguyen joins the growing contingent of foodies on the MarketWatch tech team and hosts a food podcast with her friend. She’s often methodically geeking out about ASML or reading up on the geopolitics of the chip supply chain, but don’t challenge her to a car race. Britney is a huge F1 fan.
