I am excited to announce that Christine Ji will be joining MarketWatch on Aug. 11 as a reporter helping to cover Big Tech.
Christine joins us from Business Insider, where she worked as an investing reporter covering everything from the Fed to data-center stocks to the recent “DORK” trade. Before that, she was an investment banking analyst at RBC, focusing on the communications and media sectors.
At MarketWatch, Christine will follow Apple, Alphabet, Microsoft and other technology giants, helping MarketWatch readers stay ahead in the fast-moving world of AI. She’ll also keep tabs on major trends in software and social media.
Christine is an aquarium hobbyist with a particular affinity for goldfish and aquatic frogs. She also enjoys exploring museums and is a font of knowledge on that subject, having previously spent time as a docent and museum teacher. Christine will report to me.
