Steven Kerch, an assistant managing editor at MarketWatch.com, has retired.
Kerch was also real estate editor and personal finance editor at the website, which he joined in February 2001.
Previously Kerch was real estate editor at the Chicago Tribune, where he oversaw three weekly real estate sections and managed a staff of a dozen writers and freelancers. He worked at the Tribune for nearly 22 years.
Kerch is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin.
