Helder Marinho has been hired as a platform editor for Dow Jones NewsPlus, which is a real-time news dashboard designed for easy navigation to the day’s top headlines and market overviews
Previously, Marinho spent almost 25 years at Bloomberg News, including 14 years at the headquarters in New York, 10 years in Sao Paulo and 1 year in Rio de Janeiro.
As news desk editor from 2019 to 2023, he was responsible for curating stories and multimedia content for the main TOP pages of the Bloomberg terminal, connecting different platforms for more leverage and collaboration, addressing quality and standard issues, monitoring the work of the competition
Marinho was executive editor of local language news from 2017 to 2019, running a team of as many as 150 journalists, based in different countries, producing news in Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Russian, Turkish, German, Spanish and Portuguese.
He holds a master’s degree from The New School.
