Mansueto promoted Mokwa to head of editorial operations

April Mokwa has been promoted to head of editorial operations at Mansueto Ventures, publisher of Fast Company and Inc. 

Formerly the executive managing editor of Fast Company, Mokwa will oversee print and digital production, research, and copy editing for Inc. and Fast Company. 

She joined Fast Company as production manager in 2016 and previously was at Maxim magazine.

Mokwa holds a bachelor’s degree from Florida State University and a master’s degree from the University of South Florida.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
