Mandate Wire hires Baratta to cover public pensions

James Baratta

James Baratta has joined Mandate Wire, from Money Media and the Financial Times, as a reporter to cover public pensions.

Baratta contributed to nonprofit journalism outlet FILTER and The Futuro Media Group.

He was at the Politico Journalism Institute and a student writer at Ithaca College. He also contributed to Truthout.

Baratta has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Ithaca College.
