Louisville Biz First promotes Mann to ME, Cawthon to AME, digital

David A. Mann

Louisville Business First has tapped David A. Mann as managing editor and Haley Cawthon as assistant managing editor of digital.

In his new role, Mann will run newsroom daily operations. He previously served as digital editor and has covered banking, M&A, capital, politics, the beverage industry, manufacturing, distribution/logistics and unions. He was a news reporter at the News and Tribune in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Mann graduated from the University of Louisville.

Haley Cawthon

Cawthon will primarily manage digital news operations. She is also the lead for KY Inno, a platform for LBF that focuses on startup, tech and entrepreneurship across Kentucky and Indiana. Previously, she was a features editor at the Kokomo Tribune, a daily in North Central Indiana.

Cawthon has a B.A. in journalism from Indiana University in Bloomington.
