LinkedIn’s Fairchild hired as editor in chief of BFF

Caroline Fairchild

Caroline Fairchild has been hired as editor in chief at BFF.

BFF is a new site focused on cryptocurrency news for women and nonbinary people.

She reports on the prominent voices, trends and issues facing the future of work and diversity in the workplace. Prior to joining BFF, she was one of the first outside hires to the LinkedIn News team in 2015.

Fairchild served as LinkedIn’s new economy editor, focusing on venture capital and entrepreneurial content from her new base in San Francisco.

Fairchild served as a reporter at Fortune where she built “The Broadsheet,” a widely read daily newsletter on women in business. Prior to that, Fairchild was a reporter for Bloomberg and The Huffington Post

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
