Devin Banerjee, senior managing editor and head of news growth at LinkedIn, is departing after more than eight years.
“I want to try something new,” he wrote on LinkedIn. “I’ll start with some initial ideas, but I’m open to more.”
He joined LinkedIn in 2018 to oversee its finance coverage.
Before that, he was Bloomberg News deals editor. He helped oversee coverage of mergers and acquisitions in North America at Bloomberg. Banerjee was also a deals and investing reporter at Bloomberg, responsible for covering the largest private equity managers and the broader alternative-asset management sector.
He’s a Stanford University grad and was the Daniel Pearl Memorial intern at The Wall Street Journal before joining Bloomberg.
