LinkedIn hires Shead as tech and innovation editor

Sam Shead

Sam Shead has joined LinkedIn as a tech and innovation editor.

He comes from CNBC, where he was a technology correspondent.

Prior to joining CNBC, Shead was a technology reporter at BBC News. Shead’s work has also appeared in The Financial Times, Wired, Forbes, Business Insider and Sifted. He formerly served as interim news editor for Business Insider Australia.

He has also served as a technology reporter, Berlin correspondent and senior technology reporter at Business Insider U.K. At at Techworld in London, Shead was a senior reporter and then the startups and innovation editor.

Shead graduated from Royal Holloway, University of London.
