LinkedIn finance editor Singh departs

Manas Singh

Manas Pratap Singh, finance editor for LinkedIn News Europe, has left for a new opportunity after two years.

He previously was a reporter at HFM Global for its London bureau, covering hedge funds.

Singh was an intern at Bloomberg, where he covered the UK economy and the credit market. He also worked at NDTV for more than 2 years, joining as a broadcast journalism trainee and then serving as a reporter and assistant producer.

He was also director of public relations at GGB: Good Girls and Boys, an NGO in India, and was a summer intern at Geolink Survey Private Limited.

Singh is a M.A. in financial journalism from City University of London.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
