LevFin Insights hires special situation reporter Habtemariam

Dawit Habtemariam

LevFin Insights has hired Dawit Habtemariam as a special situation reporter.

He most recently has been at tourism industry news site Skift as a global tourism reporter. He also worked at Senior Executive, a media company in New York, where he was a staff writer.

He formerly served as a staff writer, assistant editor and then as associate editor at Business Travel News. He also developed key articles for corporate clients as a writer at Buchwald & Associates in New York.

Habtemariam has a B.A. in economics from Haverford College.

Chris Roush

Chris Roush was the dean of the School of Communications at Quinnipiac University in Hamden, Connecticut. He was previously Walter E. Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
