Bloomberg has appointed Julia Leite managing editor of emerging markets in Brazil.
She will continue to be based in São Paulo.
Leite has been with Bloomberg for more than 10 years and recently served as São Paulo bureau chief.
She covered emerging markets, including Brazilian equities and corporate debt, global emerging market stocks as a reporter based in New York. She joined in June 2012 as an intern. She was also a reporter and editor at InfoMoney.
Leite has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Universidade de São Paulo and a master’s degree in business and economics journalism from Columbia University.
