Leffer joins Gizmodo as breaking news reporter

Lauren Leffer

Gizmodo has hired Lauren Leffer as a breaking news reporter.

Leffer is a science, health, and environmental journalist whose work has appeared in National Geographic, Popular Science, Audubon Magazine, Scienceline, and elsewhere. She was also an intern at Popular Science.

Additionally, she has experience in fact checking, editing, audio production, video, and creative non-fiction.

Leffer has a B.S. from the University of Maryland and a M.A. from New York University.
