Nathan Vardi, executive editor of news at MarketWatch.com, sent out the following on Tuesday:

All,

Our healthcare coverage has not been the same since Jaimy Lee left us. So I am delighted to announce that Jaimy will be returning to MarketWatch on November 10.

Jaimy will be joining us as a Health Editor. On this exact day six years ago, Jaimy first arrived at MarketWatch as a pharma and healthcare reporter. The pandemic started soon after and Jaimy distinguished herself by spearheading our coverage of Covid-19. During this first stint, Jaimy won award recognition from SABEW and the Newswomen’s Club of New York.

This time around, Jaimy is coming to us from Endpoints News, where she was a deputy editor for newsletters. Jaimy will be leading MarketWatch’s healthcare coverage. She will keep our readers on top of developments in the pharmaceutical and biotechnology sector, while also providing analysis of healthcare issues that impact their personal well-being. She will report, write and edit, and also build a team of contributors for our healthcare vertical.

At Marketwatch, we pride ourselves for being fast, but let’s not challenge Jaimy to a race. She insists on only driving a car with a manual transmission. Her dog Pinto Bean is part Xolo and shows flashes of quickness – if food is involved.

Jaimy will be based in New York and report to me. Please join me in welcoming Jaimy back to the MarketWatch family.

Nathan
