Landes to cover residential real estate for SF Standard

Emily Landes

The San Francisco Standard has hired Emily Landes to cover residential real estate.

She previously was a senior reporter for The Real Deal covering Bay Area deals and data.

Landes also spent nearly eight years for SFGate.com, writing the “On the Block” blog about notable sales in the local, regional and national real estate market.

She also worked for Black Point Press for more than a decade.

Landes is a graduate of Carnegie Mellon University.

Hussman Sr. Distinguished Professor in business journalism at UNC-Chapel Hill. He is a former business journalist for Bloomberg News, Businessweek, The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Tampa Tribune and the Sarasota Herald-Tribune. He is the author of the leading business reporting textbook "Show me the Money: Writing Business and Economics Stories for Mass Communication" and "Thinking Things Over," a biography of former Wall Street Journal editor Vermont Royster.
