Austin Business Journal publisher Heather Ladage has been named publisher and market president of the Milwaukee Business Journal.
Milwaukee Business Journal editor in chief Mark Kass writes, “Ladage, who has led the Austin Business Journal since 2012, replaces Kira Lafond, who recently retired.
“Ladage joined American City Business Journals, the parent company of the Milwaukee Business Journal, in 2001 as circulation account executive of the Austin Business Journal and was promoted to circulation director in 2002.
“In 2008 she was promoted to regional circulation and audience director for ACBJ before being named publisher in Austin. Ladage and the team in Austin have won six ACBJ Eagle Awards for market performance in the past decade, more than any other market in that timeframe.”
