Wired labor and workplace reporter Caitlin Harrington was among the 19 staffers laid off by the Conde Nast publication.
She joined two years ago, Harrington had previously served as a research fellow and research editor at the company.
She also worked as a freelance copywriter and copy editor at Viator in San Francisco.
She has also interned at and was an editorial fellow at San Francisco Magazine and was a contributing writer at Hoodline.
Harrington graduated from Boston University.
