Knight-Bagehot names 25-26 fellows

The Columbia University Graduate School of Journalism has named the 2025-26 fellows for its Knight-Bagehot program in business journalism.

They are:

Alex Janin is a health reporter at The Wall Street Journal in New York City, covering the intersection of science, wellness and money. Her work explores the booming longevity and anti-aging industry, including how shifting consumer behavior is transforming the business of health. Her heart remains in the Midwest, where she grew up.

Amanda Aronczyk is a co-host of NPR’s Planet Money, where she often reports on immigration, labor and stories from the Americas. Prior to NPR, she was a reporter at WNYC, New York Public Radio, where she contributed stories to Radiolab, On the Media, United States of Anxiety, The Brian Lehrer Show and more.

Audrey McGlinchy covers housing as a senior reporter at KUT News, Austin’s public radio station. Her work has aired on NPR’s Morning Edition, All Things Considered and Planet Money. In 2021, she received a national Edward R. Murrow award for her feature reporting. McGlinchy once starred in a Sufjan Stevens music video.

Esmy Jimenez is a senior reporter at The Boston Globe whose work covers the racial wealth gap. Previously, she reported for the Seattle Times and public radio stations in Washington State. She was part of the team behind the Peabody-nominated podcast Lost Patients and was a fellow with Reveal, ProPublica and the Maynard Institute. She is a proud first-generation high school and college graduate.

Kyle Campbell covers the Federal Reserve and mortgage regulation for American Banker, where his reporting on policy, finance and housing has won national and regional awards. He is a graduate of Michigan State University and a native of Michigan. He lives in Queens, New York with his wife and two children.

Nathan Rubbelke is a reporter with the St. Louis Business Journal, covering real estate, economic development, restaurants and retail. Since joining in 2018, Rubbelke has also covered sports business and technology. He was the founding editor of St. Louis Inno, the Business Journal-driven platform for coverage of startups and innovation.

Rob Price is an award-winning senior correspondent covering technology for Business Insider. Based in Oakland, he writes long-form features about Silicon Valley and previously covered Meta. He emigrated from London to California in 2017. He sits on the board of the San Francisco Press Club, and volunteers at the world’s largest marine mammal hospital.

Saahil Menghani is an investigative reporter based in India where he founded the fact-checking department for The Wire, an independent news site. He was an award-winning presenter and defense correspondent for CNN India. He has reported from 117 cities, conducted investigations for multiple outlets including the BBC, UK’s Channel 4, and Norway’s NRK TV, and covered the financials of U.S. companies for Yogonet Business.

Suzannah Cavanaugh is a senior commercial real estate reporter at The Real Deal and helped launch its first podcast, “Deconstruct.” Before real estate, she covered equities as a Bloomberg intern when Roaring Kitty moved markets. She graduated from CUNY’s J-school, where her capstone project unpacked a burgeoning union movement among restaurant workers. She hails from Philly. Go Birds.

Stella Yifan Xie is an award-winning correspondent for Nikkei Asia, writing mainly about China and global trade. Previously, she worked for the Wall Street Journal, where she covered China’s economy, real estate and capital markets. She has also worked as a producer for Marketplace and as a researcher at the China Economic Review in Shanghai.
