Scott Kirsner, who had been writing a tech and innovation column for the Boston Globe for the past 25 years, has moved his writing to MassLive.com.

Dave Eisenstadter of MassLive.com writes, “Now Kirsner is leaving behind a 25-year stint as writer of the Globe’s Innovation Economy column to join MassLive, writing about startups, business and innovation statewide.

“‘It’s a really interesting moment for Massachusetts given everything that’s happening politically in Washington, D.C.’ Kirsner said. ‘There’s going to be a lot of impacts on higher education and the innovation arena here. We’ve long been reliant on funding from D.C.’

“Readers can expect Kirsner to dig into the latest startups, whether they’re working on video games or cures to deadly diseases, as well as nuances in economic policy that look toward creating jobs, keeping students in state after they graduate and building on Massachusetts’ historic success.

“He’ll also write about the state’s established companies shaping industries and look at how artificial intelligence is changing the way people work.”
