Previously, King was an editor at the Association for the Advancement of Medical Instrumentation, where he wrote and edited stories for the association’s monthly newsletter.
He also served as a regulatory reporter at Modern Healthcare and was a health care reporter at the Washington Examiner. He also covered the FDA for FDANews. He also reported on county government and other topics for Northern Virginia Daily.
King graduated from Randolph-Macon College in Virginia.
