Key NY Times appointment, three Messenger hires, ex-USA Today EIC now at Arizona State

Much-beloved NY Times vet Jerry Gray (pictured) will take over as International Edition deputy. And while we sound like a broken record, The Messenger has named three more big hires (bringing the total, it seems, to 732). And Nicole Carroll, who recently stepped down as USA Today EIC, has joined Arizona State University.
