Chicago Tribune business reporter Lizzie Kane was among the layoffs at the newspaper on Thursday.
She covered affordable housing and residential real estate. Before the Tribune, she was a real estate reporting intern at Bloomberg News.
Previously, Kane interned at The Indianapolis Star, the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, The Dallas Morning News and the Baltimore Brew.
Kane has a B.A. from Davidson College.
