Kaiser Health News has hired Bloomberg News senior editor Alex Wayne to be managing editor for health policy and politics.
Wayne has been at Bloomberg since April 2010, originally as a national health care reporter covering the implementation of the Affordable Care Act.
He was also a White House editor and White House team leader.
Wayne previously worked at Congressional Quarterly and at the Greensboro News & Record.
