Kaiser Health News has hired Miami Herald reporter Daniel Chang to cover health care in Florida and the South.
He has been at the Herald for 22 years. His last day will be July 15.
Chang will start his new job in August.
He has been covering health care for the Herald, where his coverage focuses to untangle the often irrational world of health insurance, hospitals and health policy for readers.
Change previously worked at the Orange County Register for five years.
